Busy, busy, busy, busy
In fact busy. Really quiet around here lately. I haven't had the chance to be on the computer. There aren't enough hours in the day but I don't give up. Feeling worn out.

Statistics Norway
Oh now, a poignant read over at Statistics Norway.
At long last, people can now learn how common their name is in Norway.

Now spinning: 'Ear Drum', the new Talib Kweli album
Now playing: 'Ear Drum'. Hip hop is my type of music.

It's strange that I didn't dig the music earlier.

There is a lot to discover. I feel almost stupid for any reservations I had.

I saw 'Good Night, and Good Luck.'
Jij and I went to see Good Night, and Good Luck. last saturday. Overwhelming movie.
Don't be swayed by the nay-sayers!

In short: Broadcast journalist Edward R. Murrow (Strathairn) looks to bring down Senator Joseph McCarthy.

I found George Clooney did simply a wonderful job. The soundtrack of 'Good Night, and Good Luck.' is truly brilliant.
This is a movie that you keep on watching, in your mind, after you leave the stadium! I highly recommend it.

Now spinning: the new Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds album
Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds's 'Live At Radio City' has been in and out of my playlist for a week or so now. Rock is my type of music.

Now spinning: Planet Earth
Currently spinning: 'Planet Earth', Prince's new album.

The truth is I've been very indifferent to Prince for quite a while.

Lifeline
I just downloaded the new Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals album from iTunes.
It wasn't for lack of exposure - ik is a huge fan.
It stands up to to many repeated listenings.

'The Untold Story of Emmett Louis Till'
I found The Untold Story of Emmett Louis Till a nice movie, ik2 and I saw a screening of it last saturday.

Never-before-seen testimony is included in this documentary on Emmett Louis Till, who, in 1955, was brutally murdered after he whistled at a white woman. That's the main story line of the movie.

Hustlenomics
This week I downloaded 'Hustlenomics'. I probably seem like the kind of person who might be a very big fan of Yung Joc but I'm not.
Repeated listenings do infuse the melodies into your brain.

Lunch
Yesterday jij2 and I had lunch at French restaurant Chez Didier. I heard their cordon bleu is excellent.

Jij2 chose the cheese soufflé, which was ok, I had the mousse au chocolat.
I had a great time. Chez Didier is often compared to Café Max, but I think Chez Didier wins easily
And what is your favourite French dish?

Live At Radio City
I bought 'Live At Radio City', the new Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds disc this week. I've always been into pop.

I was unfamiliar with Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds. Maybe I had completely incorrect assumptions about Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds.
This album really grows on you.

'The Fog'
I saw The Fog yesterday. I heard a lot about this movie, and I found it pretty nice.
It's an interesting movie, not for everyone, but the story is engaging.

Selma Blair's performance is entertaining.
It's an interesting movie, well put together. The mood of 'The Fog' is rather special.
