Yesterday I met jij for lunch at Italian restaurant Bolzetti. I had mixed feelings since I don't crave Italian food.
I had a hard time deciding on the menu, because everything looked really sumptous, but finally decided to go with the ricotta gnocchi. We will definitely go there again.

Oh brother, well, this could be expected.

Friday, when lunch rolled around I wasn't very hungry, I just picked at some chilaquiles. Later I also had a raspberry fruit bar. For dinner I ordered Cajun food from the restaurant down the street.

I expected a truly phenomenal movie because I heard a lot of good things about it. So I saw a screening of The Gospel yesterday.


A successful R&B singer who years ago rejected God returns home when his father, a bishop, falls ill. That's the main story line of the movie.

The direction was decent. Boris Kodjoe and Idris Elba are enjoyable.
It's not bad, because it does keep you in expectation.

I just downloaded 'An Ocean Between Us', the new As I Lay Dying album from Kazaa. I probably seem like the kind of person who might be a very big fan of As I Lay Dying but I'm not.
I did not love it the first time.

Tonight after work, dinner with ik and jij at Bolciano.

'Two for the Money' was gratifying, ik and I saw the movie last night.
But either I was missing something crucial or the film just wasn't my type. There are occasional lapses in credibility.

Director D.J. Caruso did just an enjoyable job, I think Al Pacino gave a gratifying performance.

Today I had to start with the MLB tomorrow. I was supposed to cancel the VirtuFlow test but something came up, so now I have to attend some seminar. I will have to write a document on MLB, so I was told.

I bought the new As I Lay Dying album this morning. It's has some great hardrock songs on it.
Maybe I had completely incorrect assumptions about As I Lay Dying. It's strange that I didn't dig the music earlier. I probably seem like the kind of person who might be a very big fan of As I Lay Dying but I'm not. I feel silly that I didn't know about this before.
There are some addictive tracks on the CD.

I've just bought a new geek toy since it was time to upgrade. It was a real bargain.

I 've been busy all day, so it has been really quiet on this blog lately. I was too busy to update this blog or even to read blogs.
